Social Skills Groups in Orange County: PEERS and Children's Friendship Training The PEERS Program was developed at UCLA and is an evidence-based social skills program for motivated teens in middle school and high school who are interested in learning ways to help them make and keep friends.Enrollment is limited. Parent or caretaker participation is required.Teens are required to agree to attend the program voluntarily in order to be eligible.
